The Post-Event ROI Report and Share Link

Updated July 22, 2026·Reports & ROI·Share on X

The question after every conference is the same: was it worth it? The Post-Event ROI report answers it in one page. It pulls together the leads you captured, the meetings you booked, the pipeline you generated, and what the event cost, then presents a clean executive summary you can hand to leadership, live or as a PDF.

Find it under Reports → Post-Event ROI, then pick the conference.

What feeds the report

The report is built from the data you already have in Conference Hero, so there is no separate spreadsheet to maintain:

  • Leads - how many you captured, their quality, and where they came from.
  • Pipeline - the value tied to those leads, so ROI reflects revenue potential, not just headcount.
  • Meetings - the meetings booked out of the event, from both the meeting modal and booking links.
  • Budget - your total spend from budget planning, as the cost side of the return.
  • Traffic sources - for landing-page leads, a breakdown by UTM source, so you can see which channels drove sign-ups.

Because it reads live data, the numbers refresh every time the report opens. Keeping budget items logged and leads reviewed is what makes the ROI figure trustworthy.

The executive share link

Leadership does not have a Conference Hero login, and they should not need one. Generate a share link and send a read-only executive summary to anyone.

  • Click Share on the Post-Event ROI page to create the link.
  • The public page lives at a private, unguessable address and is not indexed by search engines.
  • The numbers refresh on every open, so the link is never stale.
  • The executive can download the same summary as a PDF from the shared page.

Revoke the link anytime from the same Share control. Revoking makes the public page stop working immediately, so a link that has served its purpose does not linger.

Downloading the report

You can also download the ROI report as a PDF directly, without sharing a link, for filing or attaching to an internal recap. It uses the same numbers as the on-screen report and the share page, so everything lines up.

Using it well

  • Set your goals during conference setup so the report has a target to measure against.
  • Close out budget items before you present, so the cost side is complete.
  • Send the share link to your VP the day after the show, while the results are fresh.
