Most teams lock their 2027 event calendar before the end of this year. This guide lists major B2B conferences 2027 dates confirmed on the official event sites, then gives you a simple way to decide which shows deserve a booth, which deserve a couple of attendees, and which you can skip.

Dates were checked in late October 2026. Organizers do move things, so confirm on the official site before you book travel.

Missing a show from your industry? Most organizers post next year's dates by late fall. If they are not up yet, plan around last year's timing and mark the show as TBA in your sheet until the organizer confirms.

How to choose which 2027 conferences to attend or exhibit at

A famous show is not automatically a good show for you. Score each candidate from 1 to 5 on the five criteria below and compare totals. It takes about ten minutes per show and saves a lot of arguing later.

1. Audience fit

Does the attendee mix match the roles you sell to? Ask the organizer for the audience breakdown by job title and industry instead of relying on the headline attendance number. Ten thousand attendees means little if only a few hundred of them buy what you sell.

2. ICP match

Go one level deeper. Write your ideal customer profile in a sentence or two (industry, company size, region, role) and estimate how many people at the show fit it. The free lead scoring worksheet helps you turn that profile into weighted criteria you can score against.

3. Past exhibitor lists

Last year's exhibitor list shows who your competitors and partners think is worth paying for. If your direct competitors are there every year, buyers will expect to find you there too. If none of them are, find out why before you sign. Exhibitor lists also double as prospect lists, since many exhibitors are buyers themselves. Our pre-event ABM guide shows how to work a list like that before the doors open.

4. Expected cost per lead

Estimate the full cost (booth, travel, staff, capture, follow-up) and divide by the qualified leads you expect, not total scans. The Conference Budget Calculator gives you a cost per lead you can compare across events, and our 2027 trade show budget guide walks through each line item.

5. Timing and sales cycle

A January show produces pipeline you can still close the same year. A November show mostly feeds the next one. Also check for clashes with your own launches, your fiscal year end, and other events your buyers attend.

Exhibit, attend, or skip

  • Exhibit when audience fit and ICP match both score high and the cost per lead holds up next to your other channels.

  • Attend without a booth when the right people are there but not in enough volume to justify one. Book meetings ahead of time and walk the floor.

  • Skip when the score is low, even if the show is famous. Put that budget into a smaller event with a tighter audience.

Plan lead capture before you commit

Whatever makes the list, decide how you will capture and follow up before you sign the booth contract. With Conference Hero lead capture, your team can scan badges, photograph business cards, or record voice notes. Captures queue on the device when the venue wifi drops and sync once it is back, and every lead is scored against your ideal customer profile and synced to HubSpot as it comes in. For a worked example of a single show plan, see our SEMA Show lead capture plan.

Build your 2027 shortlist

Copy the table into a sheet, add the shows from your own industry, and score each one on the five criteria. Revisit it every quarter, because dates, venues, and booth prices change. Then turn each approved show into a timeline with the conference prep checklist.
