Plans, Billing, and Workspace Settings

This article covers the money and admin side of Conference Hero: the plans and what they include, how trials and checkout work, how to manage billing, and where the settings you need most often live.

The plans

Conference Hero has three plans. Full details are on the pricing page.

Starter

For small teams running a handful of events. Up to 5 members and 5 viewers, 6 conferences per year, and the core toolkit: task planning, lead capture and scoring, budget tracking, campaigns, and the ROI report. Email caps are 5 per minute, 100 per day, and 2,000 per month, per user.

Growth

For teams running a full conference season. Up to 15 members, unlimited viewers, and 20 conferences per year, with higher email caps of 10 per minute, 300 per day, and 6,000 per month, per user, plus a larger AI allowance.

Enterprise

For larger organizations. Unlimited members, viewers, and conferences, unlimited email and AI, and added capabilities like SSO, audit logs, custom integrations, and white-glove setup. Enterprise is sold through sales; contact us to talk it through.

Email caps are per connected mailbox, not per workspace, so a bigger team scales sends linearly. See connecting your email for how caps and warm-up interact.

Trials

New workspaces start on a trial so you can run a real event before you pay. During a trial your plan's limits apply, and if you signed up with a promo, its limits may override the defaults until the trial ends. When the trial finishes, you move onto a paid subscription to keep sending and capturing at full capacity.

Checkout and billing with Paddle

Conference Hero uses Paddle as its merchant of record. Paddle handles payment, sales tax and VAT, invoices, and receipts, so prices are shown net and tax is added at checkout where it applies.

  • Subscribe from Settings. Choose your plan and whether to pay monthly on a 12-month commitment or annually upfront for a discount. An inline checkout opens over the dashboard, so you never leave the app.
  • Change plan or interval from the same place. Paddle prorates the difference.
  • Manage billing opens the Paddle customer portal, where you can update your card, download invoices, and view your subscription.
  • Cancel from the billing settings. Cancellation is scheduled to the end of your committed term, and you can resume before then to undo it.

If your workspace was set up by our team as a managed or beta plan, billing settings show a managed-plan card instead of the self-serve checkout, and your limits are handled for you.

Workspace settings

Settings is home to the workspace-level controls:

  • Team Members - invite people, set roles, and manage Event Staff.
  • Tier and billing - the plan and subscription controls above.
  • Lead scoring - tune how leads are scored, covered in lead scoring and review.
  • Workspace name and timezone - the basics every date and deadline depends on.

Integrations live under Integrations: HubSpot, Slack and calendars, and your personal email connection.

Getting support

Search this help center first. If you are still stuck, open a support request from the dashboard or contact us. Priority support is included on the paid plans.
