Log Emails to Leads From Any Mail App With BCC
Not every email to a lead goes out through Conference Hero. You might reply from your phone, or from a mail app that isn't connected. A logging address keeps the lead's timeline complete anyway.
Get your address
- Go to Integrations, My Email.
- In Log emails from any mail app, click the button to create your address.
- Click Copy and save it as a contact in your mail app so it's easy to add.
The address is personal. Keep it private. If it leaks, click New address: the old one stops working right away.
Log an email you send
Add your logging address in BCC when you email a lead. Conference Hero finds the lead by the email address you wrote to and adds the email to their timeline as sent. It also updates when they were last contacted and moves a new lead to the Engaged stage.
Log a lead's reply
Forward the lead's reply to your logging address. It's logged as a reply from the lead, and any campaign sequence to them stops, just like a reply tracked in a connected mailbox.
What gets accepted
- Only email sent from your own address (your login or your connected mailbox). Anything else is rejected, so nobody can add emails to your leads by guessing the address.
- Only recipients who are already leads in your workspace. Emails to people who aren't leads are listed as not matched.
- The same email sent twice is logged once.
Recently received on the card shows what came in and whether it was logged, rejected or not matched.
What's stored
The subject, the text of the email and who it was to and from. Attachments aren't stored. Logged emails are kept with the lead and follow the workspace's data retention, as described in our privacy policy.
