Lead and Contact Sync
The Salesforce integration enables bi-directional sync between Conference Hero and Salesforce CRM. When leads are captured at events, they're automatically created as Salesforce Leads or Contacts based on your configuration. Conference Hero matches incoming leads by email address to prevent duplicates and merges new event data, including conference name, booth visit notes, and lead score, into existing records.
This integration is available on the Team tier and supports both Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience.
Opportunity Creation and Deal Tracking
When an event lead reaches a configurable score threshold or is manually qualified, Conference Hero can create a Salesforce Opportunity linked to the contact and account. The opportunity includes the event source, estimated deal value, and a pipeline stage mapped from Conference Hero's lead status. This ensures event-sourced pipeline is tracked and attributed correctly in your Salesforce reports.
Bi-directional sync means changes made in Salesforce, like updating an opportunity stage or adding a note, are reflected back in Conference Hero. Your event team stays informed about deal progress without logging into Salesforce. Pipeline attribution reports show exactly which events sourced or influenced each deal.
Custom Field Mapping
Every Salesforce instance is different, and Conference Hero's field mapping configuration handles that. Map any Conference Hero lead field to any standard or custom Salesforce field through a visual editor. Select source and destination fields, set default values for unmapped fields, and define transformation rules. For example, you can map Conference Hero's 0-100 lead score to Salesforce's Hot/Warm/Cold rating scale.
Field mappings are saved per workspace and can be cloned across conferences for consistency. Once configured, your sync runs automatically with no manual data wrangling required.
