Lead Lists: Reusable Audiences for Campaigns

A lead list is a named, reusable audience. Upload a spreadsheet once, and the list is ready to enroll in any campaign. Lists are part of Campaign Hero; open them from Lists in the sidebar.

What a list is

A list points at leads in your workspace. Leads themselves stay workspace-wide and deduplicated by email, so the same person in three uploads is one lead on three lists. Deleting a list never deletes leads.

Uploading a list

On Lists, click New list and drop a .csv or .xlsx file.
AI reads the headers and a few sample rows and maps every column: name, email, company, title, phone, website, industry, LinkedIn, notes. Headers in German, French, or Spanish work too, and a combined name column is split into first and last name.
Columns with no lead field, such as Segment, Region, Tier, or Account ID, are kept as attributes on the list. Change any column with the dropdown, including marking more columns as attributes.
Name the list, decide whether the leads land approved or in the review queue, and import.

Leads that already exist (same email) are matched and added to the list instead of duplicated. Leads without an email are imported but cannot be deduplicated, so keep an email column when you can.

Attributes

Attributes are the extra columns you kept. They show up on the list page and travel with the lead into the campaign agent, which uses them alongside the goal and research to personalize each draft. A list can keep up to 30 attributes per lead.

Using a list in a campaign

Click Start campaign on any list to open the builder with that list preselected, or pick one or more lists from the Lists filter on the Audience step. The usual guardrails still apply: unsubscribed leads, invalid emails, and leads already in another active sequence are left out and shown in the audience breakdown.
