Attendee Notes: Keep Your Own Notes From Each Conference
Attendee Notes is where each person on the team keeps their own notes from a conference: what you heard in a session, who stopped by the booth, what to change next year. Open a conference, stay on the Overview tab, and scroll to Attendee notes, right below Planning notes.
Who sees what
- Your notes are yours. Members see only the notes they wrote.
- Admins see everyone's. Workspace admins see every attendee's notes on the conference and can filter the list by person.
- Only the author edits. Admins can delete any note (for example, one with something that shouldn't be kept), but they can't change what someone else wrote.
- Viewers don't see the section.
Anyone who isn't a viewer can add notes, whether or not they're on the conference's attending list.
Add a note
Click Add note. You can mix all three ways of writing in one note:
- Type it. The editor has bold, italic, underline, headings, bullet and numbered lists, and links.
- Add photos. Click Add photo to insert pictures from your device, like a booth setup, a slide, or a whiteboard. Large photos are resized before upload. A note can hold up to 10 photos, and photos count toward your workspace's file storage.
- Record a voice note. Click Record a voice note and talk for up to 10 minutes. When you click Stop and transcribe, the recording is transcribed and the text is added to the end of your note, so you can fix names or tidy it up before saving. The recording itself isn't kept, only the text. Notes that include a recording get a Voice tag.
Click Save note. Every note shows who wrote it and when. Edited notes are marked edited, and hovering the date shows when.
Edit or delete a note
Click Edit on one of your notes to change the text, add or remove photos, or record more. Photos you remove from a note are deleted when you save. Click the trash icon to delete a note and its photos. This can't be undone.
Voice limits
Voice recordings run up to 10 minutes everywhere in Conference Hero, including lead voice capture. Transcription uses your workspace's AI allowance. If your workspace has no voice transcription set up, you can still type your notes.
